What is GLAD CORN®? GLAD CORN® brand A-Maizing Corn Snack is best described as "a cross between popcorn and Corn Nuts®". There are some fluffy kernels like popcorn but there are more closed kernels that look more like Corn Nuts® but "aren't as hard on my teeth!" Others tell us that GLAD CORN® is like their favorite kernels at the bottom of the popcorn bowl.
There are several kinds of corn grown - popcorn, sweet corn (the kind that comes in a can or is "corn on the cob") , and "field" corn (most of which is fed to animals). Now we know why the animals don't complain!! It is very tasty stuff!! People tell us it's addicting and they have a hard time stopping once they start eating GLAD CORN®! The Original flavor is slightly salty. The Jalapeno flavor has more of a "ranch" taste with a little "kick". The Bar-B-Q flavor is spicey with a little smoke flavor. The Gourmet Cheddar flavor has a nice, "clean" cheese taste.

Each kernel is different from any of the others because GLAD CORN® is a natural product (as opposed to a manufactured product). The growing conditions are variable from year to year which can create different conditions in the soil and plants which creates different flavor and texture qualities much like wine producers find in the quality of grapes differing from year to year.
